A World of Urath campaign
Long and long ago, when the world or Urath was different than is it now, the Forces of Light and Darkness made war there. In their shadow, the mortals of Urath barely survived. The Great Wars did not so much end, as come to truce. Both sides, exhausted, put down their arms for a time and rested. That time is over, and the Great Wars come again.
Both Light and Dark seek their champions, a new generation of heroes and villains whose deeds will become the campfire stories of generations yet to come. There are many trials, and the consequences of failure are death, and worse. The rewards, however, match the risks, and there is no shortage of candidates eager to test their mettle.
